Hello, to all friends – both old and new!

Firstly, I’m a lifelong resident of Norfolk County and I truly love our area.  I especially enjoy our ready access to Norfolk’s tremendous natural beauty.  Perhaps some of you have seen me soaking up this fantastic regenerative resource on the Lynn Valley or Waterford Trails, or at the beaches of Port Dover, Turkey Point or Long Point.

I’m also a lover of fine food – much of it sourced from right here at home!  (Occasionally, paired with a nice glass of the local grape)!

Secondly, I’m an avid reader and a complete believer in Continuous Education.  I’ve done many Medically related upgrade and certificate courses over the years – both sponsored by my employers and on my own volition.

Anyway, please excuse my digression – what was that old saying: “Just the Facts, please, Ma’am!”

Pertaining to exactly how I can help YOU – because that’s what Registered Massage Therapy really is all about – helping YOU – it’s not really about me at all – I’m just the vessel.

Specifically, I honed my qualifications for over 15 years in various sectors of the Medical field representing both international and family-owned companies.  This knowledge was indispensable, in terms of helping me to arrive where I am today in my ability to treat people effectively – in a wide variety of circumstances.  Let’s just put it this way: “I saw (and absorbed) a lot – both in Hospitals and Long-Term Care Facilities”.

Coupled with this knowledge, I’ve been a life-long athlete.  (Unfortunately, nowhere near the pro level, lol).  But, perhaps, not bad in a number of sports at the mere-mortal level – including tennis, kayaking, track and cycling among others.

Unfortunately, for me – but, perhaps, fortuitously for you, I’ve learned first hand about more than my fair share of injuries and just how important rehabilitation is to one’s long-term happiness and longevity.  Thankfully, I’ve been able to fully recover from all of these “hard-knocks”.

All of that brings me to where I am today.

Wanting to improve individuals’ well-being more directly, I enrolled in the Registered Massage Therapy diploma program at Ontario College of Health and Technology, (a rigorous 2 year full-time program) graduating with Honours in 2022.

All of this has lead me to recognize that our world becomes small when we can’t do the things we love due to pain and restriction. This understanding, along with evidence-informed strategies are the foundation of my treatment approach.

To sum up, whether the treatment you are looking for is for injury prevention or recovery, surgical rehabilitation, promotion of overall good health and well-being, or simply for relaxation – I’m here to help YOU!

My education, experience and training has instilled in me the truism that client education, and individualized assessment and customized treatment plans are always a priority, in order to maximize the health and well-being of YOU – my valued client.

One last thing, as I mentioned above, I’m a devotee of life-long learning and that is continuing; I’m currently completing the “Vodder Certified Lymphatic Drainage Therapy” course and will be implementing this into my practice in the near future in order to provide even more resources to those who need this valuable service..

I truly hope you’ll book a session with me and allow me to help you.

Thank you, again, for visiting and indulging my life story!
